DANIEL & BEVERLY FOOTE
CEO and Co-founders
Daniel and Beverly - the inspiring CEO and co-founders of "We Believe" charity organization!
Since 2017, they embarked on a mission to improve kids' mental wellbeing and empower them to give back to their local and global communities. Their journey started in Saint John, where they held their first event in 2018 at TD Station, uniting tens of thousands of students and educators from North America and beyond. Despite facing challenges during a global epidemic, every May, "We Believe" once again gathered tens of thousands of students and educators, spreading their message of empowerment and compassion.
Dan Foote, with a successful background in the business world, eventually followed his dream and became an educator, working across various school districts and grade levels. He currently contributes to the education field at Hampton Middle School, fulfilling his passion for guiding and supporting young minds.
As a dedicated husband and father, Dan's commitment to making a difference shines through in his charitable efforts.
Beverly Foote, a lifelong educator focusing on students with exceptional needs, shares Dan's passion for enhancing students' mental wellbeing. She also empowers students through service learning, encouraging them to fundraise for a cultural service trip to Costa Rica.
A devoted wife and mother, Beverly's love for her three children - Ashley, Brianna, and Caleb - is matched only by her commitment to serving others.
Together, Dan and Bev form an inseparable team, working tirelessly to empower individuals in Saint John, NB, Ottawa, Ontario, and Nashville, Tennessee and around the world. Their dedication to supporting kids' mental wellness and fostering a sense of community service continues to inspire and impact countless lives. "We Believe" is truly making a positive difference in the world!
LILIAN ALEXANDER
Summer Student
Lilian Alexander is a musician from small town Sussex, NB. Growing up in the music world, Lilian has a lot of experience performing around the province, including being a member of the NB Country Showcase, performances with Christmas Daddies, and more. Lilian loves to learn and teach and takes pride in her pedagogical skills and goals. She is currently studying music with a major in voice performance at Mount Allison University and hopes to someday open a music school for young students in New Brunswick. Lillian is working this summer at We Believe - we are excited to welcome Lillian to the We Believe team.
RACHEL MACKINNON
Summer Student
My name is Rachel MacKinnon, and I am a 19-year-old student studying Business
Administration at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. My interests include
entrepreneurship, marketing, interior design, photography, and more.
Although I am not sure of my exact plans after graduation, I am super excited to see where all my different passions take me. I have a strong sense of helping others and I have always wanted to contribute as much kindness to everyone around me as possible.
I cannot wait to be a part of
WE Believe – Saint John this summer and continuously play a role in being a positive impact
within my community!

Summer Student - Strategic Partnerships Assistant
Julie Seaward is a 20-year-old undergraduate student at the University of New Brunswick
majoring in Biomedical and Health Sciences. She intends to attend medical school after
completing her undergraduate studies in order to advance her education and to pursue her
goal of being a physician. Julie has always felt compelled to contribute to others in whatever
way she can, no matter how large or small, as long as it has an effect. She is thrilled to continue
her journey with WE Believe Saint John, as their Strategic Development Assistant for a second
summer!

JENNA HOYT
Summer Student
My name is Jenna Hoyt and I am a 19-year-old studying Animal Science at the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in Truro, Nova Scotia. Throughout my school years I have been an active member in the Me to We clubs, and I love helping out in the community. I am currently a member of the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture Rotaract Club. I am beyond excited to begin my journey with WE Believe - Saint John, and to help make a difference in the world.
EMILY DONOVAN
Summer Student
As a 16-year-old student at Hampton High School, I am excited to start my final year at HHS and then I will begin studying Computer Science in the Fall of 2023. I enjoy spending time on the computer and with and family and friends. This Summer I am extremely excited to work and join the We Believe - Saint John team and is excited to meet and work with lots of great people!

LOGAN KIRKPATRICK
Summer Student
Logan Kirkpatrick is a 21-year-old student attending NBCC Saint John in hopes of pursuing a career as a respiratory therapist following her graduation in 2024. She chose to follow this career path because of her interest in the medical field as well as her desire to help others in the community. Logan is very thrilled to take on the new challenge of being a part of the WE Believe - Saint John team this summer and can’t wait to meet new people along the way.

SAM BOHAN

I am a Kennebecasis High School student entering grade 11. I am passionate about biology and wish to pursue a career in the subject! I like to spend my free time boxing, hanging out with family and friends, and going for drives.
In addition to school and my hobbies I enjoy getting to meet people and hear how they are impacting this world to make it a better place for all. I am a strong believer that when we come together - we do make a difference.

Social Marketing Manager
Maria is a social marketing manager who is also passionate about photography. She is a creative and detail-oriented individual who enjoys capturing moments and telling stories through her photographs. Maria approaches every task with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, always striving to improve her abilities and exceed expectations. She came from Ukraine. Because of war, she had to leave the country. But she still has a deep connection to her home country and actively helps it in all possible ways. We are honored to have Maria join the We Believe family.
Thomas Edoye
Strategic Partnership Assistant
Thomas Edoye is an HR and change management professional who has built most of his experience in the public sector. He is currently an MBA student at the University of New Brunswick specializing in General Management. He is also a volunteer at the YMCA Saint John and also works with high school students as Job Coach to prepare them for transition to the workspace. We welcome Thomas to the We Believe team.
